Fellowship

Relationships between members of the corps and those they seek to influence are important. Besides organised activities to support mission, worship and outreach, opportunities simply to be together and to know each other are encouraged and fostered.

Within many of the programmed groups, fellowship is an obvious feature – in adult and family ministries, for example, or the small groups and youth fellowship. Occasional meetings and activities are organised, aside from these to support the corps in its fellowship life. Besides these, some interest groups operate to encourage mutual support.

We are a congregation rich in diversity. Nationality, gender, age and professional differences are bridged. The able and the less-able accept and respect each other. Inclusion is a key value.

Our fellowship is principally with Jesus. We long that others will discover that fellowship, too, so attendance and membership is open in the fellowship groups, irrespective of faith or church membership.
