United in Song

Bromley Temple Corps welcomed St Mark’s Church and Choir into their hall for a united service.  St Mark’s Choir sang two songs: John Rutter’s “God be in My Head”; the other: “O, Praise the Lord”.

Bromley Songsters sang: “Hymn to the Conqueror” and then joined with St Mark’s Choir to sing Darren Shaw's piece: “Guardian of My Soul”.

....  And, as I reach the hill of Calvary

and see Your open arms,

I’ll know my name and where I’m going,

Guardian of my soul

.

Bromley Band participated by playing the Maori lullaby: “Hine e Hine”.

It was a wonderful evening of music which left both the choirs and congregation united in God’s love and song.
