Una Voce with One Voice

The Bromley Temple Corps hall was filled to capacity for the debut of a new Salvation Army choir: Una Voce. Leader, Karl Westwood, had the idea for the group a year ago.  They sang a wide selection of songs including: ‘We are not Ashamed’, ‘In the Strength of the King’ and ‘Draw me Close’. There were several vocal solos throughout the evening.

Captain Ashish Pawar opened in prayer and later in the programme brought a thought based on Psalm 23, giving the challenge: ‘Who is your Shepherd tonight?’

Proceeds were in aid of homelessness services at Springfield Lodge and Ilford.

The passion and faith of the whole group shone through every song, and God’s presence was felt throughout.
