Discipleship

Members of the Bromley Temple Corps have heard the call of Jesus, have declared their faith in him and have started on a journey with Him. It’s a journey of continuing discovery; it’s a journey which leads us to the cross of Christ, where we find the grace of forgiveness; it’s a journey beyond resurrection which gives us new life.

To become a disciple of Jesus is to become a learner of his way. For us that is to pursue the spiritual disciplines, including Bible study and prayer.

To be a disciple of Jesus is to live in intimate, personal relationship with Him. That relationship transforms the way we live, enabling us to become more like Him in attitudes and actions.  Salvationists call this the life of holiness.
